Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Transcription AI trainer specialist and contribute your expertise to a high-impact transcription project. In this role, you'll leverage your strong psychology background to analyze, classify, and interpret speaker emotions, helping to create robust rubrics that elevate qualitative research. This is a unique opportunity for passionate professionals eager to blend psychology with linguistic analysis in a remote, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio recordings accurately, focusing on speaker tone, sentiment, and emotional cues.
- Identify and classify a wide range of emotions expressed by speakers in various contexts.
- Develop, refine, and implement clear rubrics for emotion detection and speaker categorization.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency and accuracy in emotional classification.
- Provide detailed written reports and verbal insights on emotional trends and findings.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on best practices in transcription and emotion analysis.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Psychology, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English (native level required).
- Demonstrated experience in transcription, linguistic analysis, or psychological assessment.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to differentiate nuanced emotions in speech.
- Proficiency in developing and applying classification rubrics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills for remote work settings.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in emotion analysis, qualitative research, or similar transcription projects.
- Background in developing psychological or linguistic frameworks for annotation.
