In this role, you'll leverage your strong psychology background to analyze, classify, and interpret speaker emotions, helping to create robust rubrics that elevate qualitative research. Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe audio recordings accurately, focusing on speaker tone, sentiment, and emotional cues.
  • Identify and classify a wide range of emotions expressed by speakers in various contexts.
  • Develop, refine, and implement clear rubrics for emotion detection and speaker categorization.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency and accuracy in emotional classification.
  • Provide detailed written reports and verbal insights on emotional trends and findings.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on best practices in transcription and emotion analysis.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Psychology, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English (native level required).
  • Demonstrated experience in transcription, linguistic analysis, or psychological assessment.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to differentiate nuanced emotions in speech.
  • Proficiency in developing and applying classification rubrics.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for remote work settings.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications:
