In this engaging and flexible role, you'll reframe challenging neuroscience concepts and design assessment tools that enable advanced AI models to better understand and communicate complex scientific ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rephrase intricate neuroscience questions into clear, assessable prompts suitable for AI evaluation.
- Design comprehensive rubrics to objectively assess AI-generated and candidate responses.
- Balance scientific rigor with clarity, ensuring all content is accessible without sacrificing accuracy.
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement of AI models.
- Analyze and synthesize neuroscience subject matter to facilitate high-quality training data creation.
- Contribute written insights and documentation, demonstrating excellent grammar and communication standards.
- Dedicate approximately 10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to match your availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or MD in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Cognitive Science, Neurology, Neuropsychology, or a closely related discipline.
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for scientific detail and accuracy.
- Proven experience in rubric or assessment design within academic or professional settings.
- Outstanding technical writing abilities, evidenced by high standards of grammar and syntax.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- Native or advanced proficiency in English.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment, prioritizing impact and clarity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background as an academic neuroscientist, neurologist, neuropsychologist, biomedical researcher, professor/lecturer, or advanced PhD/postdoctoral fellow.
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams or contributing to AI/machine learning projects.
- Strong interest in science communication and advancing responsible AI technologies.
