Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

• Build and maintain side-by-side extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) utilizing CAP, Node.js, or Java.

• Assist in designing and implementing clean core-compliant solutions through in-app and on-stack extensibility.

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Develop OData services, Fiori Elements apps, and event-driven architectures leveraging SAP Event Mesh or SAP Integration Suite.

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Prepare thorough technical documentation, test cases, and deployment guides while staying current with RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, and SAP BTP innovations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including S/4HANA and cloud-based projects.

• Proficiency with ABAP on Cloud and RAP, SAP BTP (Business Application Studio, CAP), OData, and CDS Views.

• Basic knowledge of Fiori Elements and UI5.

• Solid understanding of clean core principles, modular architecture, and extensibility in S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices within SAP environments is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for effective collaboration.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BTP or ABAP Cloud Certification.

• Exposure to SAP Integration Suite, SAP Event Mesh, or SAP Build tools.

• Experience with REST APIs, JWT authentication, and cloud-native development.
