Job Description

Job Title: Power BI Engineer

Job Type: Contract ( Full-time)

Location: Remote - United States


Job Summary:

Join our customer's dynamic team as a Power BI Engineer and play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights for leading clinical operations. You'll work closely with global clients, leveraging your expertise in Power BI to deliver impactful analytics solutions. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate across US and Indian locations, contributing to high-visibility projects with a diverse and talented group.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to client requirements.
  2. Utilize advanced DAX and Power Query (M Language) to enable complex data analysis and transformations.
  3. Build and optimize robust data models ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance.
  4. Integrate data from MySQL and cloud-based sources, ensuring secure and reliable data flows.
  5. Collaborate directly with clients, providing clear communication and thought leadership throughout the analytics lifecycle.
  6. Ensure data integrity and maintain best practices in report governance and Power BI Service management.
  7. Partner with internal and client teams to troubleshoot, enhance, and support BI solutions in a hybrid environment.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query (M Language).
  2. Advanced proficiency in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for complex calculations and data modeling.
  3. Strong experience integrating and managing data from MySQL and cloud platforms.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear client interaction.
  5. Ability to quickly ramp up and deliver results, ideally able to join within 1-2 weeks.
  6. Demonstrated experience collaborating with US and India-based teams or clients.
  7. Commitment to working in a hybrid, client-focused environment for a duration of 1 year.



Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous exposure to clinical operations or healthcare analytics (training available if needed).
  2. Experience supporting clients in US time zones and a track record of high-impact, client-facing projects.
  3. Hands-on experience with cloud BI solutions and large-scale data environments.
