Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize database performance to ensure efficient data management.
- Implement and maintain backup data processes for data integrity.
- Collaborate with development teams to support and enhance database functionalities.
- Manage and troubleshoot database issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and document database strategies and guidelines.
- Monitor and tune databases to ensure high availability and performance.
- Maintain comprehensive database documentation and protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in database optimization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in designing and implementing backup and recovery systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of database security best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
- Certifications in database management or related field.
