Product Manager - Kigali (Rwanda)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and multifaceted Product Manager who will be instrumental in driving our success through a unique blend of project execution, client relationship management, and business development. The ideal candidate will not only ensure the timely and successful delivery of our projects but will also be responsible for nurturing key client accounts and identifying new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to management and a passion for building lasting client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary trusted advisor for key accounts of Proto. You will be responsible for the overall client relationship, with the goal of driving client retention, growth, and long-term success.
• B2B SaaS AI-based product design (this is a general description of our product, any experience with such products specifically, including any chatbot related products, is a plus)
• Design and execute the overall client experience, setting high standards for communication and engagement to ensure every interaction reinforces Proto's value and builds a stronger partnership.
• Confidently engage with client executives to present project results, demonstrate clear ROI, and provide strategic recommendations that align with their core business objectives.
• Lead a cross-functional team to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality. You will apply your certified project management skills to provide a predictable, transparent, and successful process that builds client confidence.
• Act as the passionate advocate for your clients within Proto.cx, translating their feedback and needs into actionable insights that help shape the future of our products and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
• Must have product example in the portfolio where we can check online. Please indicate URLs on your resume/profile.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in a project management role preferably in tech, SaaS, or AI fields.
• Preferably a Certified Project Manager.
• Must be a JIRA Expert.
• Experience in UX/UI Design is a must.
• Proven experience in account management or a client-facing role is essential.
• Must be based in the Philippines and familiar with the local business landscape.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and stakeholders, both remotely and in-person.
