Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Arabic Expert to join our customer’s team in a dynamic part-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will leverage your native-level fluency and multilingual talents to support language projects that require both spoken and written proficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for language professionals passionate about Arabic and cross-cultural communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record audio phrases in your native Arabic using a variety of devices, ensuring a rich and authentic spectrum of linguistic data.
- Transcribe recorded Arabic audio accurately into written form.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure clarity and consistency across all language tasks.
- Review and QA transcriptions for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively in English to understand instructions, provide updates, and contribute to team discussions.
- Adhere to project deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold data privacy standards at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written).
- Multilingual background with advanced English comprehension for clear communication and instruction adherence.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Prior experience in transcription, translation, or language data collection is an asset.
- Ability to record audio using various microphones or phone types—no restriction on equipment quality.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable internet connection and capability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in multicultural or remote teams.
- Background in linguistics, language education, or related fields.
- Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to new tools and project requirements.
