Job Title: History AI Trainer
Job Type: Part-time, project-based contract

Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as a History AI Trainer and put your academic expertise to work in shaping the future of AI. In this flexible, part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week), you will leverage your passion for history and communication to guide the development of advanced AI language models. This role offers the opportunity to apply your historical knowledge in novel ways, ensuring accuracy and clarity in AI outputs for a diverse, global audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rephrase advanced history-related questions into clear, accessible prompts for AI training.
- Design and implement detailed rubrics to evaluate both AI-generated and candidate responses.
- Maintain a high standard of historical accuracy and fact-checking across all tasks.
- Balance academic rigor with clarity to meet the needs of various audiences.
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers and engineers to enhance evaluation consistency and response quality.
- Document insights and best practices to support ongoing model improvement.
- Contribute feedback to streamline rubric design and training processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Archaeology, Cultural Studies, Political Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to grammatical accuracy and nuance.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and the ability to deconstruct complex historical concepts.
- Experience in technical or academic writing, with the ability to create clear, structured content.
- Proficiency in designing evaluative rubrics or assessment tools.
- Advanced or native proficiency in English.
- Strong commitment to detail, integrity, and collaborative problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in history education, tutoring, research, or academic publishing.
- Familiarity with AI, data annotation, or educational technology environments.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex ideas without sacrificing accuracy.
