Key Responsibilities

  • Train, validate, and review AI systems by applying comprehensive pharmacotherapy expertise to real and simulated clinical data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide clinical guidance on AI-driven solutions for medication therapy management (MTM).
  • Analyze diverse patient cases, interpret laboratory values, and support the development of safe, evidence-based medication recommendations for AI applications.
  • Evaluate AI model outputs for accuracy and clinical relevance, providing iterative feedback to enhance performance and patient safety.
  • Communicate complex medication concepts in clear, concise written and verbal formats to support AI model training and documentation.
  • Contribute to the creation and review of datasets, guidelines, and protocols for medication management and clinical decision support.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to anticipate challenges in drug interactions, dosing, and therapy optimization within AI healthcare products.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of pharmacotherapy, including drug mechanisms, therapeutic classes, dosing, interactions, and guideline-based care.
  • Expertise in clinical decision-making, case evaluation, and developing medication plans tailored to individualized patient needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively—both written and verbal—with healthcare providers and patients.
  • Hands-on experience with medication therapy management, chronic disease state management, and prevention of adverse drug events.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing clinical content for training AI models.
  • Proficiency in interpreting laboratory data and integrating it into clinical recommendations.
  • Comfort working remotely and collaborating with multidisciplinary, geographically dispersed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience training or validating healthcare technology, clinical decision support tools, or AI models.
  • Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or similar clinical pharmacy credentials.
  • Familiarity with data annotation, clinical informatics, or digital health platforms.
