Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Site Foreman / Skilled Trades Assistant, where your expertise and leadership drive the successful completion of remote construction projects. This expert-level opportunity is perfect for a hands-on professional who excels at overseeing on-site builds, executing skilled trades, and leveraging technology to ensure transparency and project success. You will play a key role in project delivery, balancing both physical execution and digital project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute physical build activities, including carpentry and electrical tasks, in line with project requirements and safety standards.
- Utilize advanced laser and digital measurement tools to ensure precision during installations and construction work.
- Document daily progress, site conditions, and completed work using industry-leading project management platforms such as Procore and Buildertrend.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and team members via mobile and cloud-based communication tools, ensuring seamless project flow.
- Maintain a professional client presence, representing our customer’s team with integrity and technical excellence.
- Monitor project timelines, identifying and proactively addressing challenges or delays to keep projects on track.
- Contribute expert knowledge to problem-solving and continuous process improvement on remote job sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Trade Certification or License in a related skilled trade (e.g., Carpentry, Electrical).
- Proficient with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) for documenting and tracking project progress.
- Experience in operating laser and digital measurement tools to achieve high-accuracy results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and client interaction.
- Professional client presence and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders remotely.
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute, monitor, and report on physical construction tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a site foreman or skilled trades assistant in a remote or multi-site environment.
- Advanced certifications or training in construction management or safety protocols.
- Experience working directly with clients and subcontractors via cloud-based platforms.
