Job Summary:
Join our team as a Property Management Associate and take full ownership of the daily operations across our high-end residential portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your AppFolio expertise and hospitality mindset to ensure seamless property management and deliver a white-glove experience to our discerning residents. Collaborate closely with our Director of Operations and cross-functional teams to elevate our service standards and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property management for a luxury residential portfolio, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations using AppFolio.
- Coordinate luxury turn-over projects, routine inspections, and preventive-maintenance schedules, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and timely completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Manage vendor relationships, procure service bids, and monitor contract compliance for maintenance and capital improvement projects.
- Prepare and analyze detailed budget forecasts, monthly financial reports, and property performance reviews for leadership and stakeholders.
- Uphold the highest standards of personalized service, anticipating resident and client needs with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate asynchronously with acquisitions, asset management, and investor relations teams, excelling in written communication to drive alignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in high-end residential property management with direct ownership of operational responsibilities.
- Expert-level proficiency in AppFolio property management software.
- Exceptional written communication skills, thriving in an asynchronous, remote work environment.
- Background in hospitality or luxury service (e.g., Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, resolve conflicts, and manage demanding clientele with grace and discretion.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing luxury turn-over projects and capital improvement initiatives.
- Advanced reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis skills within a property management context.
