Key Responsibilities:
- Guide AI model development by providing subject matter expertise on hedge fund operations, trade lifecycle, and risk management.
- Translate complex financial processes—including reconciliation, NAV calculation, and settlements—into structured workflows for AI learning.
- Curate, annotate, and review financial datasets to improve AI accuracy and relevance.
- Identify and document operational risk scenarios and compliance protocols for AI integration.
- Collaborate closely with developers, data scientists, and project managers to align AI outputs with real-world trading requirements.
- Continuously monitor model performance and suggest enhancements based on evolving industry standards.
- Deliver clear, insightful written and verbal feedback to cross-functional teams to foster ongoing learning and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in hedge fund operations, fund administration, trade lifecycle management, reconciliation, NAV, and settlement processes.
- Proven track record at well-recognized hedge funds or financial institutions.
- Exceptional quantitative analysis and risk management abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in operational risk, compliance, and middle office procedures.
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and documentation.
- Passion for improving and training AI systems within complex financial contexts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications, such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA.
- Experience supporting AI model training or data projects in a financial environment.
- Advanced proficiency in financial technology platforms and tools.
