Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Security Operations Engineer (SOC Engineer) - AI trainer, where you will blend your security operations expertise with the exciting world of artificial intelligence. In this unique role, you will help shape the next generation of AI tools for Security Operations Centers by providing hands-on expertise and cycle-based AI prompting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and refine AI prompts based on real-world SOC/incident response scenarios.
- Collaborate with AI development teams to create accurate, context-rich training data and use cases.
- Apply subject matter expertise to ensure SOC procedures and incident response workflows are accurately captured and represented in AI training activities.
- Analyze and synthesize complex security operations content into actionable input for AI models.
- Conduct regular reviews of AI outputs to ensure alignment with industry best practices and evolving security threats.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, emphasizing strong written and verbal skills.
- Continuously research trends in security operations and contribute insights to enhance AI learning modules.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in Security Operations Centers or as a SOC Engineer.
- Deep knowledge of security event monitoring, incident detection, and response workflows.
- Expertise in developing and optimizing SOC processes and playbooks.
- Proficient in clear, concise written and verbal communication for a diverse audience.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical tasks into structured, actionable prompts for AI training.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with AI or machine learning initiatives related to cybersecurity.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, or similar are highly desirable.
- Background in training, mentoring, or curriculum development for technical teams.
