Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Manager (BCM) to join our customer's team. In this vital role, you will drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business continuity programs to safeguard enterprise operations. Your expertise will ensure resilience during crises and enable the organization to maintain operational readiness under any circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide business continuity and crisis management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Lead cross-functional risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and critical dependencies.
- Coordinate and facilitate crisis response and incident management exercises to ensure organizational preparedness.
- Advise executive leadership and stakeholders on business continuity planning and incident response best practices.
- Collaborate with HR, security, IT, and communications teams to align continuity plans with organizational workflows.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and refine continuity plans based on evolving risks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Design and assess structured reasoning rubrics for evaluating model outputs and ensuring effective response strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in crisis management, incident response, and business continuity, ideally within large enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise strong judgment under uncertainty and develop multi-stage response plans.
- Expertise in coordinating business continuity programs that encompass HR, security, and communications workflows.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex scenarios into clear action plans.
- Experience writing, implementing, and evaluating structured reasoning rubrics for data-driven decision making.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Skilled at engaging stakeholders and driving consensus across multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, or similar.
- Background in emergency operations or BCP within regulated industries.
- Experience presenting to executive or board-level stakeholders.
