Job Summary
Join our team of Road Roller Operators and play a crucial role in constructing and maintaining roads and infrastructure across Japan. They are responsible for operating state-of-the-art road roller machinery to ensure optimal compaction of soil, asphalt, and construction materials, creating safe and long-lasting surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate road roller machines to compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other paving materials on roads and construction sites.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
- Follow project specifications and site plans to achieve desired compaction results and surface smoothness.
- Work closely with construction teams and site supervisors to coordinate rolling activities and maintain workflow.
- Continuously monitor and adjust roller settings based on material type and site conditions.
- Document work performed and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Comply with all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience operating road roller or heavy construction equipment.
- Strong knowledge of road construction processes and compaction techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear documentation and teamwork.
- Meticulous attention to detail for machine operation and site safety.
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Physically fit with the stamina to work in various outdoor conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Japanese heavy equipment operator’s license or equivalent certification.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or road construction projects in Japan.
