Job Summary

Join our team of Road Roller Operators and play a crucial role in constructing and maintaining roads and infrastructure across Japan. They are responsible for operating state-of-the-art road roller machinery to ensure optimal compaction of soil, asphalt, and construction materials, creating safe and long-lasting surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate road roller machines to compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other paving materials on roads and construction sites.
2. Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
3. Follow project specifications and site plans to achieve desired compaction results and surface smoothness.
4. Work closely with construction teams and site supervisors to coordinate rolling activities and maintain workflow.
5. Continuously monitor and adjust roller settings based on material type and site conditions.
6. Document work performed and communicate effectively with team members and management.
7. Comply with all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Proven experience operating road roller or heavy construction equipment.
2. Strong knowledge of road construction processes and compaction techniques.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear documentation and teamwork.
4. Meticulous attention to detail for machine operation and site safety.
5. Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
6. Physically fit with the stamina to work in various outdoor conditions.
7. Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Valid Japanese heavy equipment operator’s license or equivalent certification.
2. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or road construction projects in Japan.
3. Familiarity with Japanese safety regulations and site practices.
