Job Description
Job Title: Finance Expert
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level insights and feedback on finance-related content, especially within Private Equity (PE) and Investment Banking (IB) domains.
- Evaluate and refine financial models, reports, and documents to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Review and assess AI-generated outputs for correctness, clarity, and alignment with industry standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to communicate complex financial concepts effectively, both in written and verbal form.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in finance, particularly in the PE and IB sectors.
- Deliver constructive, actionable recommendations to enhance AI training and outputs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring data integrity and the highest level of domain-specific nuance in all tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in finance, with demonstrable experience in Private Equity and/or Investment Banking domains.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to explain intricate concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing, editing, or creating complex financial materials.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing deadlines and priorities efficiently.
- High level of integrity and professional judgment in handling sensitive information.
- Familiarity with industry standards, financial modeling, and reporting best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior experience contributing to AI, data annotation, or technology-driven finance projects.
- Certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar credentials are a distinct advantage.
