Job Summary

Join our customer's team as a Test Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality software through robust test automation. Leverage your expertise in Python, SQL, and Selenium to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable testing solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Selenium to validate application functionality and performance.
  • Analyze system requirements and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain automation frameworks to streamline regression, integration, and end-to-end testing processes.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for validating data integrity and conducting backend testing.
  • Document and communicate detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to increase testing efficiency and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and report on issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on software quality.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong programming proficiency with Python, including developing, debugging, and optimizing scripts.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Selenium for automation testing of web applications.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for comprehensive backend testing.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, and QA best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear, effective collaboration and documentation.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional, hybrid team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based development environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests in the development lifecycle.
  • Exposure to additional automation or performance testing tools is a plus.
