Job Summary


Join our customer's team as a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist, where your expertise in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making will shape strategic outcomes. This part-time, fully remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate globally while delivering actionable insights and supporting critical business planning initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Develop, refine, and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
  2. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and deliver clear, data-backed recommendations to key stakeholders.
  3. Lead the preparation and review of detailed budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
  4. Structure and manipulate large datasets in Excel to deliver precise, actionable analyses.
  5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  6. Prepare and communicate financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
  7. Record and articulate analytical reasoning through concise, well-structured walkthroughs, ensuring clarity for diverse audiences.



Required Skills and Qualifications


  1. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role.
  2. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including structuring datasets and executing analytical workflows.
  3. Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences.
  5. Experience preparing clear, documented walkthroughs of your analysis and recommendations.
  6. Proven ability to extract key insights from financial data and present findings in a logical, compelling manner.
  7. Self-motivated, able to manage competing priorities, and thrive in a remote, collaborative environment.



Preferred Qualifications


  1. Experience working with international teams or supporting global business operations.
  2. Familiarity with modern BI tools and financial planning software.
  3. Professional certification in finance (e.g., CFA, CPA) or related field.
