Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Automotive Upholsterers to join our team in Croatia. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate professionals looking to elevate their craft by working with innovative materials and automotive interiors. As part of our collaborative environment, you will contribute to high-quality, customized automotive upholstery projects and continually develop your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise upholstery tasks including cutting, sewing, and fitting materials in a variety of automotive interiors.
- Operate industrial sewing machines (single needle or post bed preferred) for tasks such as straight stitching, edging, joining, quilting, and decorative stitching.
- Work with thick or heavy materials commonly used in vehicles, ensuring seam durability and superior finish.
- Inspect completed work for defects and ensure alignment with our high quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to fulfill custom and standard upholstery orders on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to workplace safety protocols.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and specialize in assigned sewing operations, adapting to new techniques as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an automotive upholsterer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines, particularly single needle or post bed models.
- Solid experience in basic industrial sewing tasks (straight stitching, edging, joining, quilting, decorative stitching).
- Demonstrated ability to sew thick or heavy materials such as automotive fabrics, leathers, or vinyls.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to understand work orders and collaborate with team members.
- Motivated to learn, adapt, and grow within specialized upholstery operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with automotive upholstery in a production or restoration setting.
- Experience with custom automotive interior projects.
- Knowledge of upholstery tools, materials, and techniques specific to automotive applications.
