Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Japanese Language Expert, supporting a dynamic transcription project that bridges English and Japanese content. You will play a crucial role in ensuring precise language transcription, contributing to high-impact communication and content accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe audio and written materials accurately between Japanese and English.
  • Review and edit transcripts to maintain linguistic and contextual fidelity.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold project quality standards.
  • Provide insightful linguistic feedback to enhance transcription processes.
  • Meet project deadlines and deliver consistent, polished results.
  • Manage multiple transcription tasks with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively via written and verbal channels with team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese and strong command of English.
  • Demonstrated experience in transcription, translation, or related language services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in transcription work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Proficiency with transcription tools and digital collaboration platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with bilingual transcription projects.
  • Familiarity with technical terminology across different industries.
  • Background in language studies, linguistics, or similar fields.
