Job Title: Italian Voice Actor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and expressive Italian Voice Actor to join our customer's team for an exciting AI training project with a leading AI lab client.

Note: It is highly preferred that you participate in the interview using your best audio equipment and full recording setup, as you will be asked to perform an emotional reading with your gear during the process.

In this remote, part-time role, you will help shape cutting-edge language technology while showcasing your vocal versatility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record high-quality Italian voice samples following project guidelines and scripts.
  • Deliver a range of emotions and tones to enhance the diversity of training data.
  • Collaborate closely with project coordinators to meet weekly recording targets (at least 20 hours per week).
  • Ensure all recordings are clear, professional, and meet technical specifications.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms with team members and project managers.
  • Participate in periodic feedback sessions to refine performance and align with project goals.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot your own audio equipment and recording setup as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a clear, expressive speaking voice.
  • Proven experience in voice acting or professional audio recording projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Reliable access to a high-quality home recording setup.
  • Ability to consistently devote a minimum of 20 hours per week to the project.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering timely results.
  • Comfortable with remote work and digital collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with AI, tech companies, or large-scale data collection projects.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard audio equipment such as EMU 404 USB Audio Interface, AKG P220 mic, AKG K271 Mk2 headphones, or Rode NT1 microphone (ultra-low noise).
  • Background in acting, narration, or other performance arts.
