Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Bilingual Finance Annotator, where your meticulous attention to detail and expertise in finance will directly impact the accuracy of AI-extracted financial data. You will validate, correct, and enhance complex financial information extracted from multi-page documents, ensuring data integrity and compliance with high standards. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-powered document processing in a dynamic, remote environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compare AI-generated extraction results with source PDFs, field by field, ensuring perfect alignment and data accuracy.
  2. Validate and correct complex JSON schemas, confirming every data point is correctly placed and complete.
  3. Check and verify all mathematical calculations within documents, ensuring line items sum correctly and totals are accurate.
  4. Identify, document, and rectify discrepancies between source documents and extracted data.
  5. Communicate findings and collaborate closely with technical and annotation teams, providing clear, detailed feedback.
  6. Handle hundreds of data fields per document, maintaining an unwavering focus on detail to prevent errors.
  7. Maintain documentation of annotation guidelines, updates, and best practices for continuous workflow improvement.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Fluency in English and an additional language relevant to finance or insurance documentation.
  2. Proven experience or strong familiarity with finance, insurance, legal, or government documents.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision.
  4. Demonstrated ability to navigate, verify, and interpret nested JSON structures.
  5. Superior reading comprehension skills for dense, multi-page PDFs containing tables and complex financial data.
  6. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness—one incorrect data point can compromise an entire document's validity.
  7. Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, document processing, or proofreading in data-driven environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Background in financial, insurance, or legal data review and annotation.
  2. Experience working with AI-generated data extractions or automated document processing tools.
  3. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume remote setting.
