Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as an Indonesian Language Expert and play a vital role in a dynamic, multilingual project. This flexible, remote position is perfect for native Indonesian speakers who are passionate about language, communication, and cultural diversity. Your expertise will directly contribute to accurate language data and enriching global linguistic resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record audio samples of Indonesian phrases and sentences using diverse devices (mics/phones).
- Provide clear, accurate transcriptions for each recorded phrase in Indonesian.
- Ensure timely submission of audio and transcriptions according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers to clarify instructions and deliver feedback.
- Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication in Indonesian and English.
- Uphold data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
- Embrace a variety of recording technologies to enrich the dataset’s diversity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native proficiency in Indonesian with a strong command of grammar and vocabulary.
- Proficient in English, enabling seamless understanding of instructions and team communications.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to produce and transcribe clear audio samples in Indonesian.
- Comfortable working independently and remotely, managing part-time commitments.
- Experience in language services, translation, or linguistics is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multilingual ability in additional languages.
- Prior experience working in remote or distributed teams.
- Familiarity with linguistic data collection or language learning technologies.
