As an Insurance Expert – AI Trainer, you will leverage your deep insurance expertise to train cutting-edge AI models by annotating datasets and providing detailed insights into claims management, fraud detection, and risk assessment. Key Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and annotate insurance documents, claims files, and datasets to support AI model development.
- Articulate clear, step-by-step reasoning for underwriting, risk, or claims decisions to guide machine learning processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define labeling guidelines and improve data quality.
- Apply best practices in claims management workflows, policy administration, and regulatory compliance during data annotation and review.
- Identify patterns and anomalies related to fraud and collaborate on the enhancement of AI-driven fraud detection techniques.
- Provide domain-specific feedback to refine AI models and support quality assurance initiatives.
- Communicate findings and complex concepts effectively across multidisciplinary teams, both in writing and verbally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in insurance—claims management, underwriting, actuarial analysis, or risk assessment.
- Hands-on experience with claims workflows and exposure to SIU/fraud prevention strategies.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting processes, pricing models, and policy administration.
- Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
- Meticulous attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to clear documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and deliver high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in AI model training, data annotation, or similar projects within financial services.
- Advanced certifications in insurance (CPCU, AIC, etc.) or relevant technical training.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional, remote teams in an agile setting.
