As an Insurance Expert – AI Trainer, you will leverage your deep insurance expertise to train cutting-edge AI models by annotating datasets and providing detailed insights into claims management, fraud detection, and risk assessment. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful innovation while working remotely alongside a team of forward-thinking professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review, analyze, and annotate insurance documents, claims files, and datasets to support AI model development.
  2. Articulate clear, step-by-step reasoning for underwriting, risk, or claims decisions to guide machine learning processes.
  3. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define labeling guidelines and improve data quality.
  4. Apply best practices in claims management workflows, policy administration, and regulatory compliance during data annotation and review.
  5. Identify patterns and anomalies related to fraud and collaborate on the enhancement of AI-driven fraud detection techniques.
  6. Provide domain-specific feedback to refine AI models and support quality assurance initiatives.
  7. Communicate findings and complex concepts effectively across multidisciplinary teams, both in writing and verbally.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven expertise in insurance—claims management, underwriting, actuarial analysis, or risk assessment.
  2. Hands-on experience with claims workflows and exposure to SIU/fraud prevention strategies.
  3. Strong knowledge of underwriting processes, pricing models, and policy administration.
  4. Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  5. Meticulous attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving capabilities.
  6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to clear documentation.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and deliver high-quality results.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience in AI model training, data annotation, or similar projects within financial services.
  2. Advanced certifications in insurance (CPCU, AIC, etc.) or relevant technical training.
  3. Experience collaborating with cross-functional, remote teams in an agile setting.
