Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and execute audio recording, editing, mixing, and mastering tailored for Tamil-language content.
2. Collaborate closely with linguists, content creators, and the broader customer's team to ensure pristine audio quality.
3. Perform quality assurance and troubleshooting for audio deliverables, upholding the highest technical standards.
4. Optimize workflows utilizing industry-standard audio software and hardware for efficient project completion.
5. Maintain accurate documentation and provide feedback on audio processes, supporting continuous improvement.
6. Deliver clear, timely written and verbal updates to project stakeholders and team members.
7. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in audio engineering and Tamil media production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Native or near-native fluency in Tamil, with a strong grasp of its dialects and nuances.
2. Proven experience in professional audio engineering, particularly with Tamil-language projects.
3. Proficiency with DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar.
4. Exceptional attention to detail, with an ear for audio clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to document, report, and collaborate effectively.
6. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive independently in a remote setup.
7. Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working with distributed or multicultural audio production teams.
2. Background in voiceover, podcast, or media localization for Tamil audiences.
