Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled External Insulation Installers to join our team and deliver high-quality facade solutions on a variety of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Install a range of external insulation systems on building exteriors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare building surfaces for insulation application, including cleaning, priming, and performing minor repairs as necessary.
- Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials accurately to building walls and structural features.
- Apply adhesives, fixings, and renders according to manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and site managers to ensure efficient project workflow and timely completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of completed installations to ensure durability and compliance with building codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each project phase.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as an External Insulation Installer working on building façades.
- Strong knowledge of external insulation systems and current installation best practices.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic installation instructions and construction drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform work on building exteriors, sometimes at height or in varying weather conditions.
- Problem-solving mentality with a proactive and collaborative approach to challenges.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to site regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a variety of insulation materials (EPS, mineral wool, etc.).
- Previous work on large-scale or commercial building projects.
- Relevant industry certifications or vocational training in façade or insulation installation.
