Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as a Macedonian Language Expert and play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and accuracy of AI-driven language solutions. You’ll leverage your advanced linguistic skills to support the development and optimization of cutting-edge AI technologies, transforming how Macedonian is understood and processed by machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, edit, and refine Macedonian language data for AI training purposes, ensuring all content meets the highest standards of accuracy and naturalness.
- Translate a variety of materials from English to Macedonian and vice versa with cultural and contextual sensitivity.
- Collaborate closely with AI scientists and engineers to improve language models and annotate linguistic data sets.
- Evaluate and provide detailed feedback on Macedonian language tasks, helping to drive continuous improvement of AI outputs.
- Develop and curate glossaries, style guides, and documentation to maintain linguistic consistency and quality.
- Perform comprehensive quality assurance checks on AI-generated content to ensure precision and reliability.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, offering expert advice and linguistics insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Macedonian, with exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and semantics.
- Proven experience in professional editing, writing, and translation involving Macedonian.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for linguistic accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated expertise in reviewing, annotating, and evaluating language data.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Familiarity with digital tools and collaboration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an AI language trainer or with AI/NLP projects involving Macedonian.
- Background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience developing resources such as glossaries or style guides for language teams.
