Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Grocery Retail Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of grocery retai with AIl. As an expert in store operations, you will leverage your hands-on experience to optimize every aspect of the retail process, supporting the development of cutting-edge AI training datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end grocery retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and in-store execution.
- Apply expertise in nutrition, health, health sciences, and disease control to enhance store practices and product placement.
- Contribute to the creation and validation of AI training data by providing insights into real-world retail environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes and deliver operational excellence.
- Analyze and optimize store layouts, planograms, and inventory systems to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Document best practices and operational workflows with a strong focus on clear written and verbal communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends in grocery retail and integrate relevant innovations into recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience managing grocery store operations from planning through execution.
- Strong background in nutrition, health sciences, and disease control as applied in retail settings.
- Expertise in merchandising, inventory management, and in-store process optimization.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting operational data and implementing improvements.
- Understanding of AI training data relevance and quality assurance in retail contexts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI or data annotation projects in grocery retail environments.
- Advanced degree in nutrition, health sciences, or a related field.
- Track record of process innovation and operational excellence in high-volume grocery settings.
