Fullstack Growth Marketer
Required Skills
Job Description
Overview:
We’re looking for a Fullstack Growth Marketer to build and execute long-term, relationship-driven marketing strategies for founder-led startups (Seed to Series A). These companies are typically 3–10 people and rarely more than 25. You will be the sole marketer at VamosWatu—responsible for owning and executing every aspect of marketing. From strategy to content, outreach to automation, you’ll be the driving force behind how we attract, nurture, and convert relationships into long-term customers.
This is a hands-on, tech-savvy role for someone who thrives on experimentation, automation, and connecting with people. You’ll lead across six core directions: strategy, outbound, organic and paid social media marketing, PPC, SEO, and automation/workflow management. Together, these functions build the foundation for scalable, AI-empowered marketing systems.
Role Purpose
You’ll develop and execute a marketing engine rooted in demand generation and growth marketing—prioritizing long-term trust, value, and stable growth over short-term wins. This means designing and managing the full customer journey from initial outreach to long-term engagement, combining marketing strategy, automation, and personal relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Relationship Building
- Define target personas (founder-led seed and Series A startups) and understand their pain points and motivations.
- Build and manage a marketing framework that treats every lead as a long-term relationship, not a transaction.
- Design nurture paths for leads that delay engagement, ensuring continued contact through value-based outreach.
- Translate VamosWatu’s positioning and story into actionable marketing campaigns that attract high-quality founder leads.
2. Outbound Direction
- Independently plan and execute outbound outreach to founders of early-stage startups.
- Build and refine outbound messaging sequences and personalized follow-ups.
- Maintain detailed tracking for outreach engagement, meeting conversions, and follow-up cadence.
- Ensure every “not now” lead enters an automated nurture process.
3. Organic & Paid Social Media Marketing
- Develop and execute both organic and paid social strategies that increase awareness, trust, and conversion.
- Manage all paid campaigns on LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and Meta platforms targeting founder-led startups.
- Create engaging founder-centric content (posts, videos, and case studies) and maintain VamosWatu’s online presence.
- Monitor analytics, test creatives, and iterate based on audience behavior and feedback.
4. PPC Direction
- Design and manage PPC strategies to attract high-quality inbound leads.
- Research and test relevant keywords tailored to VamosWatu’s audience.
- Develop landing pages that align with PPC campaigns for optimized conversion.
- Report on ROI and use insights to continuously refine campaigns.
5. SEO Direction
- Build and execute a long-term SEO plan to grow VamosWatu’s visibility and authority.
- Optimize website content, metadata, and technical SEO for improved performance.
- Conduct keyword research, oversee backlink strategies, and monitor ranking progress.
- Use analytics and AI tools to track and improve organic visibility and lead generation.
6. Automation & Workflow Management
- Build marketing automations that streamline outreach, lead routing, follow-ups, and nurture flows.
- Implement AI-driven tools for content personalization, outreach, and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain CRM hygiene, ensuring clean data and accurate relationship tracking.
- Continuously test and improve automations to reduce manual effort and increase scalability.
90-Day Plan (No PPC or SEO Work in Initial Phase)
Days 1–30: Learn & Build Foundations
- Deeply understand VamosWatu’s positioning: “Build Lean In-House Tech Teams — Faster. Cheaper. Better.”
- Audit current marketing assets, content, CRM workflows, and social presence.
- Define the relationship marketing strategy, personas, and messaging tone.
- Establish CRM tagging, segmentation, and basic nurture workflows.
Days 31–60: Launch Outbound & Organic Efforts
- Build and launch outbound campaigns targeting founder-led startups.
- Execute organic social campaigns focused on education, storytelling, and founder engagement.
- Launch nurture campaigns for non-converting leads.
- Track early performance: outreach responses, social engagement, and meeting conversions.
Days 61–90: Optimize & Prepare for Scaling
- Refine messaging, content, and outreach based on engagement data.
- Enhance automation systems and CRM workflows.
- Begin strategic groundwork for PPC and SEO: keyword planning, audience mapping, funnel design, and integration planning.
- Lead redesign and development of VamosWatu.com, including a lead magnet process to support inbound conversion.
Success Metrics
- Growth in qualified leads from outbound, organic, and paid channels.
- 5–10 Marketing Qualified Meetings (MQMs) and 3–6 Sales Qualified Meetings (SQMs) within the first 90 days.
- Maintain ~60% conversion ratio from MQMs to SQMs.
- Engagement and conversion rate of nurtured leads (“not now” pool).
- Increase in founder interactions (comments, DMs, meeting requests).
- Improved CRM and workflow efficiency (automation accuracy, reduced manual effort).
- Creation of AI-assisted content systems (for long-form, short-form, video, and graphics).
- Efficiency gains and scalability through no-code and AI-based automations.
- Reduction in manual production time and improved content consistency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B or startup marketing with full-funnel ownership.
- Deep understanding of relationship marketing and lifecycle marketing principles.
- Proven ability to execute outbound, content, social, PPC, and SEO campaigns independently.
- Highly technical and curious—comfortable with automation, AI tools, CRMs, and analytics.
- Excellent communicator and storyteller with empathy for founders and small teams.
- Operates autonomously, experiments often, and thrives in startup-level ambiguity.
Bonus Skills
- Experience building early-stage marketing systems from scratch.
- Familiarity with no-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, HubSpot, Airtable).
- Strong analytical mindset: able to interpret and act on data insights.
- Passion for startup ecosystems and helping founders scale.
- Deep interest in AI and agentic workflow automation, with a curiosity for testing and implementing emerging technologies.
