Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as an Editor and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-driven content. You will leverage your editing expertise to refine written material, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and structure while helping train state-of-the-art AI systems to reach editorial excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Review, revise, and enhance manuscripts, articles, and various written materials for grammar, structure, and clarity.
- Collaborate with AI teams to train and evaluate AI models on editorial best practices and standards.
- Assess the quality of AI-generated content, providing detailed feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Plan and coordinate editorial workflows, ensuring smooth progress from drafts to publication-ready materials.
- Evaluate proposals and drafts to determine suitability for publication, suggesting structural or stylistic changes as needed.
- Document editing processes and contribute to the development of editorial guidelines for AI training purposes.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment on editorial expectations and quality metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated expertise in editing, grammar, and content structuring across diverse formats.
- Experience revising and evaluating manuscripts or articles for publication or digital platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting.
- A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools or a keen interest in advancing AI-powered editorial workflows.
- Commitment to maintaining high editorial standards and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience training or evaluating AI tools in editorial contexts.
- Subject matter expertise in specialized domains (e.g., technical, scientific, medical, or educational content).
