Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as a Video Post-Production Workflow Expert and help redefine how AI understands professional video editing. In this unique role, you’ll leverage your expertise in OpenShot and Shotcut to showcase your authentic editing workflow from raw footage to final export. Your real-world problem-solving, sequencing, and narrative timing will directly inform the next generation of intelligent editing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate and articulate your end-to-end video post-production process using OpenShot or Shotcut.
2. Organize, label, and manage raw video assets efficiently for streamlined editing workflows.
3. Apply narrative timing skills to structure stories with compelling pacing and visual flow.
4. Refine rough cuts, evaluate transitions, and solve visual challenges as they arise.
5. Communicate your decisions clearly, both verbally and in writing, to document workflow rationale.
6. Collaborate with the research team by providing actionable feedback on workflow capture and AI learning requirements.
7. Showcase creative approaches to common post-production obstacles, adding value beyond technical execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven expertise in video editing with OpenShot and/or Shotcut on professional projects.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in workflow explanation.
3. Demonstrated experience sequencing edits, crafting narrative timing, and visual problem-solving.
4. Professional track record completing full video projects for commercial, educational, or monetized content.
5. Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving project objectives in a remote setting.
6. Experience organizing, managing, and archiving diverse multimedia assets.
7. Comfortable explaining creative and technical decisions in a clear, concise manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Background as a freelance video editor, multimedia designer, or content producer for monetized channels.
2. Experience producing e-learning, marketing, or social media video content.
3. Previous involvement in capturing workflows or training materials for post-production teams.
