Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain dynamic PHP-based web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project requirements and architectural solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best software engineering practices.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimizing application performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance application functionality and user experience.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing with the wider customer’s team.
- Adapt to evolving project needs, continuously improving solutions and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on PHP development experience in a professional setting.
- Strong expertise in web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining scalable web applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Solid understanding of OOP principles, MVC frameworks, and RESTful API development.
- Proficiency with source control tools such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on high-traffic, customer-facing platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud services, containerization, or DevOps practices.
- Involvement in Agile or Scrum teams within a remote environment.
