Job Title: SAP ABAP Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
Join our team as a SAP ABAP Assistant Manager and play a crucial role in delivering innovative SAP solutions for leading clients. You will lead technical delivery, drive enhancements in SAP S/4HANA projects, mentor junior developers, and ensure solutions meet the highest standards in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, testing, and delivery of SAP ABAP solutions and RICEFW components from offshore, ensuring on-time and high-quality deliverables.
- Work closely with functional consultants, solution engineers, and solution experts to resolve project challenges and ensure compliance with technical specifications and design requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, estimate effort, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the Technical Manager and functional teams during build and testing phases.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within our team.
- Drive performance optimization, troubleshooting, and bug fixing to support client needs and project goals.
- Occasionally participate in onshore delivery as required, adapting to dynamic project scopes and client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in SAP ABAP Development, S/4HANA development, and advanced ABAP concepts including ABAP Cloud, CDS, OData, Gateway, RESTful ABAP, IDOC, Adobe Forms, ABAP OO, BOPF, and Workflows.
- Proven experience in S/4HANA WRICEF implementation, conversions, and custom code remediation.
- Clean Core mindset and demonstrated experience in Developer Extensibility (Embedded Steampunk).
- Solid grasp of open standards such as Cloud Foundry and core ABAP RICEFW development.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and technical solution delivery.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, independence, and a client-focused approach to software engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from design to deployment.
- Background in performance optimization and troubleshooting within large-scale SAP environments.
- Well-versed in SAP functional processes and the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
