Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to execute project requirements accurately
- Lay bricks, stones, blocks, or concrete units to build or repair walls, floors, partitions, and other structural elements
- Mix and apply mortar, cement, or other binders with precision to ensure strong and lasting construction
- Maintain the highest standards of quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications
- Care for and properly handle tools, equipment, and construction materials
- Work closely with fellow construction workers, engineers, and supervisors to deliver projects efficiently and on schedule
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience as a Mason or similar construction role
- Thorough knowledge of masonry materials, techniques, and equipment
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, plans, and instructions
- Strong physical stamina and strength to perform heavy manual labor
- Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to delivering top-quality results
- Awareness of and commitment to construction site safety practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively on-site
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on diverse construction projects or in international settings
- Certification or formal training in masonry or construction trades
- Demonstrated leadership or team coordination experience
