Job Summary

Join our customer's team as a Recreation Worker and bring your hands-on expertise in recreational activity planning to the innovative world of artificial intelligence. You will play a pivotal role in teaching AI models by leveraging your professional experience to shape how AI understands and supports real-world recreation environments. If you are passionate about both recreation and technology, this is a unique opportunity to influence future AI applications.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and simulate a variety of recreation programs to help train AI behavior in activity planning and execution.
  2. Contribute real-life insights on participant engagement, safety protocols, and program success metrics.
  3. Evaluate and provide feedback on AI-generated content related to recreational scenarios.
  4. Document and communicate findings clearly to development teams, ensuring models reflect authentic recreation work settings.
  5. Collaborate with AI specialists to iteratively improve model performance using your domain expertise.
  6. Champion best practices for safety, inclusion, and enjoyment in AI training data and processes.
  7. Adapt quickly to evolving project needs and deliver high-quality written and verbal input.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as a Recreation Worker or in a similar role involving activity planning and program execution.
  2. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and detail.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in remote, cross-functional teams.
  4. Exceptional organizational and coordination abilities, managing multiple project tasks and deadlines.
  5. Demonstrated safety awareness, ensuring realistic and responsible recreation program scenarios.
  6. Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for documentation and communication.
  7. An inquisitive mindset and dedication to continuous improvement.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring others in recreation settings.
  2. Background in data collection, instructional design, or AI-related projects.
  3. Advanced skills in documentation or process evaluation.
