Job Description
Job Title: Burmese Language Expert
Job Type: Contractor

Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written materials accurately between Burmese and English, ensuring meaning and context are preserved.
- Review, edit, and proofread Burmese content for clarity, grammar, and tone consistency.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality datasets used in AI language training.
- Provide nuanced feedback on translations and Burmese linguistic outputs from AI systems.
- Collaborate remotely with the customer's team to refine language resources and workflows.
- Analyze complex language data to identify trends, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive linguistic information with discretion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Native proficiency in Burmese with impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced command of English, capable of expressing complex ideas clearly across both languages.
- Demonstrated experience in translation, writing, or editing in Burmese and English.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality in language tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong written communication for documenting language data and feedback.
- Familiarity with standard translation tools or content management systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in language data creation, localization, or AI-related projects.
- Background in linguistics, language studies, or a related field.
- Previous collaboration with international or remote teams.
