Job Summary:

Join our customer's team as an Aerospace Engineers - AI trainer, leveraging your aerospace expertise to shape the future of AI in the industry. In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding the development of AI models by imparting your knowledge in the design, construction, and testing of advanced aerospace systems. Collaborate virtually with a dynamic, innovative group while influencing next-generation AI applications used within the aerospace sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert input and feedback to train and enhance AI models focused on aerospace engineering applications.
  • Review and annotate technical aerospace data, ensuring accuracy and context for AI learning processes.
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into structured training materials and datasets for AI systems.
  • Communicate insights effectively with AI developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.
  • Recommend improvements in AI data collection and annotation strategies based on engineering best practices.
  • Assist in developing use cases and evaluation scenarios simulating real-world aerospace engineering challenges.
  • Support the continuous improvement of AI knowledge bases by identifying emerging trends and key industry standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
  • Professional experience in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, spacecraft, or missiles.
  • Strong proficiency in reviewing technical documentation and translating engineering tasks into actionable AI training data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to clarity and detail.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting or evaluating aerospace research and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote, part-time capacity while meeting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with collaborative digital tools and virtual communication platforms.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an AI trainer, data annotator, or subject matter expert in technology-driven projects.
  • Hands-on involvement with AI/ML applications within aerospace or related engineering domains.
  • Advanced degree or specialized certification in aeronautics, avionics, or systems engineering.
