Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to design and enhance manufacturing-specific AI models.
- Translate manufacturing quality protocols, lean principles, and Six Sigma methodologies into AI training data and model logic.
- Provide in-depth feedback on AI model outputs, ensuring alignment with real-world manufacturing standards and best practices.
- Document manufacturing workflows and decision criteria to inform and validate AI model development.
- Participate in iterative testing cycles to continuously improve AI model performance and relevance.
- Contribute expert insights to cross-functional teams to drive innovation in AI-supported manufacturing solutions.
- Communicate complex manufacturing and AI concepts clearly in both written and verbal format to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with manufacturing quality protocols across processes such as stamping, welding, final assembly, and QA/QC.
- Proven application of lean manufacturing methodologies in real-world environments.
- Solid grounding in Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate manufacturing expertise into actionable AI model enhancements.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to advancing manufacturing excellence through technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience partnering with AI/ML or data science teams in an industrial context.
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing environments.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or related manufacturing disciplines.
