Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients promptly based on the severity and urgency of medical conditions.
- Deliver rapid, patient-centered emergency care for acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening situations.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
- Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs, conduct clinical assessments, and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all patient care activities, interventions, and responses.
- Promote a safe, compliant environment by strictly adhering to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to empower informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current and valid PHRN license and active NCLEX Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as emergency room nurse
- Proven proficiency in assessing, prioritizing, and managing complex patient needs in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to stay calm, focused, and decisive during medical emergencies.
- BLS/ACLS certification
