Join our customer’s team as a Finance & Data Research Analyst, where you’ll uncover valuable insights by expertly navigating complex data sources and financial information. This part-time, remote position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in resource discovery and enjoys communicating findings that drive strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform extensive research to identify and gather critical financial data from diverse digital resources and databases.
- Evaluate, organize, and synthesize datasets, ensuring accuracy and integrity across multiple file formats.
- Analyze financial reports, statements, and market trends to support business objectives and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate closely with team members to provide timely updates and share research outcomes in a clear and actionable manner.
- Prepare concise written summaries and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data sources, methodologies, and research processes.
- Continuously monitor new resources and tools that enhance research efficiency and data quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in resource discovery, including sourcing and verifying complex financial and business data.
- Strong financial literacy with the ability to interpret and analyze financial documents and terminology.
- Proficient in data navigation, with experience handling various file formats (e.g., CSV, Excel, PDF).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine commitment to clear, effective information sharing.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing time and priorities efficiently.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Familiarity with data visualization and research tools is a plus.
