Job Summary:

Join our team as a Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying and cultivating new opportunities in international markets. You will leverage your research acumen and exceptional communication skills to establish strategic client relationships, uncover new projects, and ensure the seamless delivery of manpower solutions that make an impact.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on existing and emerging markets to identify opportunities for Ikon to supply manpower.

• Establish connections and build linkages with new projects and potential clients in countries with manpower requirements.

• Initiate and manage proactive communication with prospective clients via email and phone, introducing Ikon’s value proposition.

• Pre-qualify potential clients and conduct impactful initial presentations and negotiations.

• Maintain, update, and maximize the Ikon Client Database to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

• Facilitate the employer accreditation process with DMW and MWO, ensuring timely renewals and compliance.

• Assist in planning and organizing Ikon’s foreign marketing trips, including client research, meeting coordination for the President, and logistical support.

• Tackle additional related functions and special projects as assigned, contributing to the continuous growth of our business.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant business development experience.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with sound judgment.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.

• Outstanding networking abilities and a customer service-oriented mindset.

• Fearless, “hunter” mentality with a passion for pursuing new business.

• Excellent time management, listening, and collaboration skills to build lasting client rapport.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with DMW rules, procedures, and industry compliance.

• Experience in managing large client databases and foreign business development.

• Research-driven, resourceful, and persistent approach to uncovering opportunities.
