Job Summary

Join our customer's team as a Spanish Language Expert specializing in Castilian Spanish and make a significant impact by elevating language quality and communication standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy across diverse projects, collaborating closely with writers, editors, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  1. Review and refine written materials to ensure precision and correctness in Castilian Spanish.
  2. Support the creation of high-quality Spanish (ES) content for various media, including digital, print, and internal communications.
  3. Provide expert linguistic advice to cross-functional teams, maintaining cultural and contextual appropriateness.
  4. Collaborate with writers and editors to enhance tone, clarity, and consistency of content.
  5. Conduct language quality assessments and implement best practices for continuous language improvement.
  6. Translate or localize materials as needed, ensuring adherence to Castilian Spanish conventions.
  7. Stay updated on linguistic trends and developments relevant to Spanish (ES), sharing insights with the customer's team.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Native or near-native proficiency in Castilian Spanish, with a deep understanding of regional nuances.
  2. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish (ES) and English.
  3. Demonstrated experience in language review, editing, or translation roles.
  4. Expertise in grammar, syntax, orthography, and language conventions specific to Castilian Spanish.
  5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality results under deadlines.
  6. Excellent collaboration and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive approach to communication.
  7. Familiarity with digital tools for writing, editing, and remote teamwork.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Linguistics, Spanish Language, Communications, or related field.
  2. Experience working on international or cross-cultural content projects.
  3. Certification in Spanish language or translation studies.
