Key Responsibilities
- Review, proofread, and edit Finnish language content across various media platforms to ensure precision and cultural relevance.
- Translate documents and communications from English to Finnish and vice versa, maintaining the intended meaning and tone.
- Support the customer's team in developing language-specific strategies for content localization and adaptation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide linguistic advice and resolve language-related queries.
- Conduct regular quality assurance assessments of Finnish language materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Finnish language trends and best practices.
- Deliver linguistic training or workshops to enhance language skills within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Finnish with excellent command of grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions.
- Demonstrated experience in translation, localization, or linguistic editing.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of Finnish language conventions and cultural nuances.
