Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as a Portuguese (BR) Language Reviewer – AI Trainer and make a direct impact on the next generation of language technology. In this flexible, fully remote, part-time role, you will leverage your deep linguistic expertise to review, refine, and enhance AI-generated Brazilian Portuguese content, ensuring linguistic authenticity and elevating user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate AI-generated Portuguese (BR) text and speech for fluency, naturalness, and linguistic accuracy.
• Distinguish between native and non-native Portuguese (BR) language usage, identifying subtle nuances and regional expressions.
• Deliver actionable feedback to improve AI comprehension of Brazilian Portuguese grammar, idioms, and colloquial language.
• Collaborate with technical teams to refine AI voice and text models, emphasizing pronunciation, accent clarity, and contextual accuracy.
• Analyze, annotate, and maintain high-quality standards for Portuguese (BR) speech and written data.
• Support the development and application of robust evaluation frameworks for native speaker identification and content quality control.
• Document findings thoroughly and contribute to ongoing quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to recognize, assess, and critique a range of regional Brazilian Portuguese accents and dialects.
• Background in Portuguese Language, Linguistics, Philology, or a closely related field.
• Outstanding attention to linguistic detail and a passion for promoting language excellence.
• Prior experience in content review, editing, language assessment, or similar linguistic roles.
• Skilled at providing clear, structured, and constructive feedback.
• Self-driven, able to work autonomously and manage quality in a remote, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in AI training, speech data annotation, or contributing to natural language processing projects.
• Familiarity with voice/speech technologies or language resource development.
• Advanced degree or relevant certification in Brazilian Portuguese linguistics or related studies.
