Job Summary:

Join our customer’s team as a Writer, where you will contribute your mastery of English to produce, edit, and analyze written content at an advanced level. In this role, you will transcribe the spoken word to text, dissect language nuances, and ensure clarity and emotional accuracy in all outputs. Collaborate with a driven remote team and make a tangible impact on diverse content projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe videos with precision, accurately indicating timestamps and capturing speaker intent.
  • Describe and annotate the emotional tone and inflection of speakers, providing rich context for each transcription.
  • Analyze grammar, sentence structure, and overall linguistic quality in complex language tasks.
  • Define the conceptual aspects of words and phrases, offering nuanced explanations where required.
  • Edit and proofread content across multiple formats, ensuring accuracy and consistency with native-level proficiency.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly, both in written and verbal forms, within the team environment.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments, delivering high-quality output on a part-time commitment of at least 15 hours per week.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native-level English proficiency with exceptional command of grammar, vocabulary, and style.
  • Proven experience in editing, proofreading, and writing complex content.
  • Strong transcription skills, including the ability to recognize emotional nuances and speaker intent.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a critical eye for linguistic subtleties and content authenticity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating a genuine care for conveying ideas clearly.
  • Competence in using digital tools and platforms for remote collaboration and content delivery.
  • Ability to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week consistently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in linguistics, communications, or language studies.
  • Experience analyzing tone and language in multimedia contexts.
  • Prior remote work or transcription experience in a professional setting.
