Join our customer's team as an Energy Related AI Trainer and play a pivotal role in advancing AI-driven solutions for the energy sector. In this dynamic full-time, remote position, you will leverage your domain expertise to produce high-quality, domain-relevant documents and evaluation rubrics that accurately reflect real-world industry workflows. Help shape the future of energy operations, utilities, sustainability, and engineering by supporting the development and evaluation of cutting-edge AI technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Create, review, and refine technical documentation and training materials that relate directly to energy industry operations.
  2. Design and implement evaluation rubrics based on authentic workflows utilized by professionals in energy analysis, utilities, grid operations, and sustainability.
  3. Collaborate closely with subject-matter experts—such as energy analysts, electrical engineers, field technicians, and grid operations teams—to capture nuanced workflow steps and quality criteria.
  4. Ensure all generated content meets rigorous standards for accuracy, clarity, and relevance to current energy sector practices.
  5. Continuously assess and improve AI training data to support model performance in real-world energy settings.
  6. Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, to share insights, document processes, and provide feedback to team members.
  7. Stay current with industry advancements and integrate emerging best practices into documentation and evaluation assets.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in energy operations, utilities, sustainability, or engineering roles.
  2. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
  3. Demonstrated ability to create structured rubrics or metrics for evaluating complex processes or outputs.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  5. Proficiency in translating technical workflows into clear, actionable training or evaluation materials.
  6. Experience working with or alongside energy analysts, electrical engineers, field technicians, or grid operations teams.
  7. Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities effectively.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior involvement in AI projects or data annotation within the energy sector.
  2. Advanced degree in engineering, energy systems, or a related technical field.
  3. Familiarity with regulatory or sustainability frameworks relevant to the energy industry.
