Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, interactive content for AI-driven legal learning platforms focused on criminal law and related topics.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on complex criminal cases and legal principles to inform and enhance AI tutoring capabilities.
- Provide expert advisory on nuanced areas of criminal law, identifying potential pitfalls and best practices for AI applications.
- Audit and review AI-generated legal materials for accuracy, compliance, and educational value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical and content teams to ensure legal rigor and clarity in all outputs.
- Create clear written explanations and verbally communicate with both legal and technical stakeholders to align on objectives.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and developments in US criminal law and integrate those insights into AI training modules.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in the United States (US attorneys only).
- Proven expertise in criminal law, including knowledge of crimes, defenses, and legal procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in legal advisory, research, and document auditing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a commitment to clarity and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex legal information for educational purposes.
- Comfort working independently and remotely, with strong time management and self-motivation.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools or AI technology is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring in law, particularly in criminal subjects.
- Exposure to developing or training AI-driven legal platforms or tools.
