Job Summary:

Join our innovative team as a Software Engineer 3 (GEN AI), where you'll push the boundaries of generative AI while architecting reliable, scalable software solutions. You'll collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver impactful products and mentor junior engineers, all in a remote-first and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize generative AI-powered applications and infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor a talented team of 4 to 6 engineers, guiding them through the full software development lifecycle.
• Develop RESTful services and microservices with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Implement and maintain robust, distributed systems on major cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Leverage deep analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Foster a DevOps culture by championing automation, continuous integration, and deployment best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• 5-8 years of software engineering experience, including experience with Python (preferred) and Java.
• Proficiency with AWS (preferred), with exposure to Azure and GCP.
• Expertise in developing Linux-based applications, networking, and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful service design, microservices, and distributed systems architecture.
• Strong background in data modeling, scaling, and working with databases such as Aerospike, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative, team-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Practical knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Experience with LLMs, ASR, TTS engines, or audio pipeline technologies (e.g., IP streaming, Voicebots, Call Quality Automation, CC).
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch queries, Grafana, Kibana, and advanced networking concepts.
