Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with precision and clarity.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and all regulatory requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors.
- Lead tax planning efforts, oversee returns and filings for corporate, income, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
- Monitor and report on cash flow, expenditures, and overall financial performance.
- Deliver actionable financial insights to support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized financial documentation in line with best practices.
- Support management with risk assessment, cost control, and profitability enhancement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certified/Chartered Accountant credential (CA, CPA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or audit experience.
- Thorough understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities—essential for team collaboration and reporting.
- Demonstrated integrity and a strong ethical approach to financial management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supervising or training accounting teams.
- Background in a multinational or diverse business environment.
- Knowledge of risk management and cost optimization strategies.
